• Communications — group messaging, newsletters, and targeted emails to specific ride groups. Members control how they're contacted.
• Club Emails — write and send emails to the whole club or any targeted sub-group: seniors, juniors (automatically routed to guardian email addresses for safeguarding), or filtered by gender. Bespoke comms groups let clubs build any mailing list they need. Events requiring volunteers automatically generate their own comms group — no manual list building required.
• Member Alerts — clubs send push notifications directly to members' phones for time-sensitive information: training cancellations, session changes, and urgent announcements. Alerts also fire automatically for new message board posts, incoming direct messages, and group chat activity.
• Club Race Timing & Results — a full timing and results system for time trials, chain gang events, and club races. The timer starts the event stopwatch in the app; finishers tap to record their position and finish time. Physical tokens generated by the system are matched to each finisher's QR code — on their Garmin or Apple Watch, in the app, or printed. A single scan uploads all results to the club portal. Results are editable before confirmation, then emailed to each participant individually or as a full results list.
• National Race Database — members search for upcoming UK sportives, road races, and events directly in the app. Tap to add a found event to their calendar — or submit event details via the in-app form if it's not in the database yet. Events are verified by the connectMyClub team, who add the official website and a precise what3words start location, making the listing available to all connectMyClub users across the UK.
• Club Race League — clubs choose which race distances or event types count toward their internal league. Finish times from the app, Strava, or Garmin feed into the table automatically, with points awarded based on finishing positions among club members. The full table downloads as an Excel file for clubs to format and distribute as they wish.
• Club Website, Powered by connectMyClub — the website platform is included at no extra cost. Sessions, events, news, and photos entered once appear on the website automatically — no duplication. Your club keeps its own domain and hosting: point your A records to connectMyClub's servers and it works with your current provider, or let connectMyClub handle domain registration and hosting if you'd prefer everything in one place.
• Junior Safeguarding — independent safeguarding switches give granular control over what junior members can see and do, including a DBS-check gate for adult-to-junior messaging. All default to on.
• Guardian-linked Accounts — junior members are linked to a parent or guardian account. Club emails to juniors are automatically routed to the guardian's address, and guardians can manage their child's membership, bookings, and consent forms — all without sharing a login.
